Alpha Running Sock Review

In my opinion, running socks are almost as important as running shoes. While they aren’t talked about as much, a bad running sock can ruin any runners day. If you have ever worn a bad pair of socks for any sporting activity, you know that blisters and smelly socks can really make things worse.
A few weeks back a colleague of mine, a big runner, mentioned to me that he started a running sock company. I was obviously interested since we have always talked running and openly shared running gear and shoe recommendations. When I heard he started a sock company, I had to give them a try.
Over the last 15 years of running, I have been a huge fan of Balega running socks. Not only have these socks been comfortable, but have always prevented blisters and helped me run in comfort.
One thing that I don’t like about Balega socks is that they retail from $15-$20 for a single pair. While these socks are durable, it is still alot of money for a single pair of socks. My favorite pair of Balega socks are the Hidden Comfort No Show model.
One of the great things about the Alpha Running socks is that they retail for only $10 and are shipped free.
Below are details of the Alpha Running Socks and a detailed review after wearing these socks on over ten different runs.
Here are a few pictures of the Alpha Running socks.
Below are a few pros and cons of the Alpha Running socks.
Alpha Running Socks Verdict
|Our Rating:||Viewer Rating:|
I have tried so many different running socks over the past fifteen years (Balega, Feetures, Smartwool, Icebreaker, etc.). I will say that for the price of $10, the Alpha Running socks are a great value and worth trying.
While wearing these socks, I experienced no blisters and just a smooth and comfortable run. The shoes have a slight compression and a moisture wicking material, which is perfert for those hot summer runs.
The other thing that stood out to me was the price of the Alpha Running sock. These socks retail for $10 and ship free. You won’t find a sock from Balega, Feetures, or Smartwool at this price point.
If you are looking for a pair of running socks at a great price, give Alpha Running socks a try.

Alpha Running Socks Initial Thoughts
When I first opened the packaging, I immediately thought that these socks looked like Balegas. I actually had a pair that was very similar, yet a little different.
When I put the socks on, I thought they were a little tight, but as i pulled them on and wore them around, they began to feel great. I will say that I wasn’t sure if I would like them, but did as soon as I wore them for my first run.
