Run, Train, and Live with Nike and Jack Rabbit
Running, Training, and Living
Running, Training, and Living is something that many of us do every single day. Whether you are training for a marathon, half marathon, or any other race, then you know that training is just as important as running. Continuing to strengthen your legs, core, and mind all make those race day performances more successful.
I’ve participated in more than 20 marathons and one thing that is important to me is the gear that I wear when running, training, and living. Not only do I want something that fits well, but I like gear that is stylish, comfortable, and will help me perform my best.
Last weekend I ran the Columbus Marathon. I didn’t run as fast as I had planned to, but still happy I had the opportunity to run. As soon as I finished the race, I put on a pair of Nike warm-up pants and a Nike Dri-Blend shirt. Not only were these items comfortable to wear, but they helped keep me cool on a warm day.
Nike and JackRabbit.com have partnered to promote the Run, Live, and Train slogan. theActiveGuy.com has partnered with JackRabbit to help promote this with a social media contest.
Below are a few items I have worn to Run, Train, and Live. The one that continues to impress me with Nike Gear is that the items they make can be worn for working out and lounging.
Additional Details about my favorite Nike Products

Favorite Nike Running Shoe:
The Free Run Motion Flyknit running shoe literally fits like a sock. The lightweight flexible shoe is not only comfortable for everyday wear, but solid enough for daily runs. If you haven’t tried these shoes, I highly suggest giving the a try.

This is a neutral running shoe and retails for $130.
Favorite Nike Running Half-Zip
The Element Sphere Half-zip provides the right amount of comfort, warmth, and style. The Half-zip (two zippers) allows you to moderate warmth by having two zippers, the first I have ever seen. It also has reflective strips and enough fabric to fold over for gloves during those chilly runs. A versatile top that looks and fits great.

If you watched the Olympics this summer than you saw the Team USA Dri-Blend shirt. This simple, soft, and comfortable shirt is great for a short run or hanging out, all while supporting Team USA.
