Brooks PureCadence 3 Running Shoe Review
I have been a huge fan of the Brooks Purecadence running since its inception. I have had countless pairs of the PureCadence 1 and PureCadence 2 models. The PureCadence 3 shoe came out earlier this year, but I never picked up a pair because I kept getting great deals on the PureCadence 2. Recently Running Warehouse had a sale to celebrate their 100,000 follower on Facebook and this allowed me to pick up the 3 for around $55 which is an absolute steal.
Brooks PureCadence 3 Shoe Initial Thoughts
When I ordered the Brooks Purecadence 3 shoes, I was hoping they were similar to the earlier 2 models. When I opened the box and felt the shoe, I knew instantly I would like it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the teal, but it was unique and would help me stand out when running at night. I love the tongue and fit of these shoes. The asymmetrical lacing really helps with the tender spots I have on the top of my foot. The shoes are light enough to feel fast and supportive enough for the longer runs.
As I mentioned earlier, I have been a huge fan of the PureCadence series and think most people would enjoy running in these Brooks shoes.

Brooks PureCadence 3 Shoe Sole
The Brooks Purecadence 3 running shoe sole is very similar to the earlier model. I do hope that this sole is more durable than the PureCadence 2. The PureCadence 3 has an improved heel, which helps promote a natural running motion and encourage forefoot striking.
The PureCadence 3 sole has an improved rubber that will improve durability, support, and flexibility. All of which should make this an even better shoe than the previous model.
Brooks PureCadence 3 Shoe Upper
The Brooks Purecadence 3 running shoe incorporates a few different technologies that help make this shoe unique. For starters, the asymmetrical lacing that provides a better fit when the shoe is tied and minimizes the chance of irritating the top of your foot. This is something that has helped me work through a few foot pains I had when I started running. This shoe also has a Nav Band, which you can easily see when looking at the shoe. This band provides support and helps keep the foot secure when running.
