Any runner knows that the Boston Marathon is the most prestigious road running event in the world. Year after year, the times for qualifying runners improve making this race even more difficult to get in to.
I have been fortunate to have run the race in 2010 and 2013, something I’ll never forget. No only am I thankful to have run in such an amazing race, but I am thankful to have finished safely before the 2013 bombings occurred.
Every January Adidas announces the colors and design of the Boston Marathon apparel that will be available at the race expo (race date: April 15, 2015). This apparel and gear provides runners the opportunity to pick up souvenirs and other items to wear and cherish. By far, the most popular item is the Official Boston Marathon Jacket.

The Active Guy Verdict
When I first received the Adidas email about the 2015 Boston Marathon Apparel, I was excited to see what was in store for this years jacket. I decided not to run this year, but am always excited to see the jackets that everyone else will be wearing at the different races I take part in.
This years Boston Marathon apparel and gear color is not my favorite, but still some great products to help any runner celebrate the amazing race. I am not a huge fan of the Official purple jacket, but really like the red supernova jacket. A great alternative at a lower price.
I am a huge fan of hats that are available this year. The grey beanie is really cool and would be great for winter training.
Overall, I really like the unique color and options for the 2015 Boston Marathon apparel and gear. Definitely jealous I won’t be running this year! For official race information and qualifying times, check out baa.org.
