If you run or workout regularly, you probably listen to music with headphones while exercising. I usually listen to Podcasts, but some friends I know can’t workout without music and headphones. In the past I wore cheap wireless headphones that would sometimes work but rarely would work for my entire workout.

With the introduction of AirPods, the number of wireless headphones has really increased. Everyone is competing to gain market share of this huge opportunity to have the best wireless earbuds. When the Jaybirds Vista earbuds came out, I read they were waterproof and sweatproof, something that had damaged some of my previous cheap headphones. This review outlines my experience with the Jaybirds Vista earbuds.

The Jaybird Vista Wireless Earbuds are a top of the line earbud making it great for daily workouts. While it works with your phone too, I had some performance issues with the microphone. The solid battery life and the waterproof exterior make this something that performed great on all of my runs from 5 miles to 20 miles.

I even put these through a load of wash and they came out clean, working perfectly. There are a few color options so its nice to have the ability to choose best color for you. I really liked the camo ones I have, but can understand that everyone may not like this color option. While I highly recommend these, they are not cheap. These retail for $179, but you can usually get for 20% off.

Jaybird Vista Earbuds Initial Thoughts

Prior to getting the Jaybird Vista earbuds, I had read some great things about the fit, performance, and sound. When I first opened the box, I was impressed with the simplicity of these earbuds. While they looked a littler bigger than I expected, I was eager to see how they sounded and fit.

When I first put the Vista earbuds in, they fit pretty well, but took some adjusting to get used to. I connected them to my iPhone and put on Amazon music. It was amazing to me how well these blocked out sound and really could only hear the music, something I wasn’t used to with AirPods and other headphones I have used in the past. With the fit and sound, I was excited to use these more and more.
