Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 Boost Shoe Review

Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 Boost Running Shoe

I mentioned in my original Adidas Tempo 7 Boost shoe post, that I would soon be purchasing a pair of these great looking shoes and writing a review. I finally bought a pair and have ran in them a few times.

Having only done a few test runs in the Adidas boost sole, I wasn’t sure what to expect of the all new Adidas Tempo 7 Boost. Having been a huge fan of the earlier Adidas Adizero Tempo running shoe, I was worried I wouldn’t like the new model. Glad I worried for nothing.

I am here to tell you that converting the Tempo running shoe to a Boost model makes it more comfortable and a faster running shoe. Below are a few images of the shoes that I recently purchased.

The Active Guy Thoughts

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Adidas Tempo running shoe has been my racing shoe for the past 2 years. It’s a lightweight, supportive, and a shoe that really helps you run fast.

When I first opened the box and picked the shoes up, I knew I would I would like them. The boost technology felt supportive, yet responsive. The Black and orange color are a http://shop.holabirdsports.com/search?w=adidas+adizero+7+boostTempo 7 Boost Running Shoes.

My first thought after trying the shoes on, was wow these feel fast.

About the Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 Boost Running Shoe

The Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 running is a daily trainer  and performance stability running shoe that is ideal for slight to mild overpronated foot motion.

With the all new Adidas Boost midsole, this responsive and lightweight (8.9 oz for size 9) running shoe provides you a shoe that is light enough for speed work and supportive enough for longer runs. Something that is very hard to find.

Similar to previous Adidas Adizero models, this shoe is equipped with a Continental rubber outsole that provides traction in wet or dry conditions.

Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 Boost Running Shoe Sole Information

The sole of this shoe comes with a Continental rubber outsole designed to provide improved stability and traction. The rubber part of the sole seems to be a bit thinner than previous models of the Adidas Adizeo Tempo shoes I have owned. This could simply be an improved rubber compound that increases durability. Either way, I wanted to point it out.

The all new Boost sole provides an improved soft and very responsive ride. For those of you who are not familiar about the Boost technology, they are capsules that were created to improve sole responsiveness and an increase of shoe life with minimal weight. I was amazed how the Boost sole actually felt. It was a little spongy, but very responsive and supportive.

The improved EVA sole frame and Torsion technologies support overpronation and allows the sole to adapt to different running styles.

Adidas Adizero Tempo 7 Boost Running Shoe Upper Information

The upper for the Tempo 7 Boost shoe was also updated. As you can see from the pictures, the upper of the toe box is an open mesh which improves breathability while reducing weight. When I first wore these shoes, I could feel the cool air on my toes. Something to think about if you are running in the cold with these. I also hope the mesh is more durable than it appears at first glance.

Another great update is the new sockliner that these shoes have. It improves the fit and provides a more natural fit for your foot.

The updated tongue is attached on both sides inside the shoe so you will never have to worry about it moving to an uncomfortable position.

The Active Guy Verdict

Similar to previous Adidas Adizero Tempo shoes, this will be my racing shoe for all distances. The lightweight feel and responsiveness make this ideal for any run.
